Important things to note
During resurfacing, no vehicles can be parked in the resurfacing area. Please relocate your vehicles to a nearby road prior to resurfacing work commencing. Vehicles that are not moved will have to be relocated (details on how to find a relocated vehicle are below).
During the work phases the road will be closed. This means there will be no vehicular access within or across the area and no parking while works are being carried out for safety reasons. However, there will be intermittent access for residents during the works, and residents will have full access after-hours (18:00 onwards). During the day when construction is ongoing, access will be limited, depending on which section is being constructed.
Temporary Traffic Orders will be in place to support the ‘No Parking’ cones and signage. Vehicles parked in the coned areas run the risk of receiving a Penalty Charge Notice and possible relocation.
If your vehicle is relocated, please contact Towed Vehicle Tracing Service (TRACE) customer services helpdesk on 0300 077 0100. Vehicles will be allowed back onto the road once the work is complete and where the cones and warning signs have been removed.
