Phase 1 - Hawarden Grove / Rosendale Road junction

We are proposing these  improvements at Hawarden Grove / Rosendale Road junctions: 

• Raise existing zebra crossing north of the junction to reduce vehicle speeds 

• New coloured surfacing on the cycle track across the junction to visually reinforce cycle priority 

• New protective islands at the junction to reduce slow vehicles entering and exiting the minor road, by reducing the turning radius 

• Raised continuous footways across the minor road junction to make it easier for pedestrians to cross and to make pedestrian priority explicit 

• New cycle parking
